| With an injured Kobe Bryant we were still in a position to steal the game. Yeah we didn't do that but hey, Utah lost 4 games at home all year long. We just got to win our games at home and we shall be fine. |

You certainly are confident.
If we had a healthy Bynum, that might be true. As it stands, the Spurs will be VERY difficult to defeat. They aren't the defending champs for no reason.

I won that game for the Lakers. I watched the first half and realized they were losing because I was watching. So I went and played basketball for 3 hours and they won. 
Seriously I hate playing defense. |

I was half-joking, half-serious. I honestly believe that this Laker team assembled has all the perfect components and should be the blueprint for any team in the NBA to follow. We've got the superstar, solid all-star caliber players who don't complain about wanting to be number 1, shooters coming off the bench, young guys who can push the tempo, a veteran who knows when the slow and when to push; we're all just clicking. Absolutely not taking anything away from the Spurs, and as Game 1 noted, if we don't execute or play any semblance of defense as in the first half, we'll get our butts kicked. For the rest of the series, I don't think we'll play as bad as we did in the first half and I don't think Kobe will got berserk like he did in the end of the game, so I'm shooting for somewhere in between. Even then, the Spurs are a team built around defense and shutting their opponents down. The Lakers are the highest scoring team in the playoffs. We just have to be more patient within the triangle to get the open looks, because they will be there, it'll just take longer to create. I'm rambling, but I do feel that we'll win by 8+ tonight, go to San Antonio and win 1 out of 2 and come back home to finish them off. Lakers in 5 |

I was watching the game with my friend (who's a Knicks fan) and when Ariza got put in, my friend said "he's great, but he's got no jump shot" right as Trevor dropped it in from 20. |
