Nash wasn't traded - he signed as a FA with the Suns. Cuban offered Nash 4 years at about $9 million per, while the Suns offered 6 years $10 million per, and Cuban refused to match the Suns' offer.

^ I feel that both teams got better with that move though. Nash was good, but he wasn't as good as he is now on Pheonix. Dallas started to turn definsive minded, well at least more than they were. Mavs should have one the ring last season and they just might do it this season.
