Showing my age...
i don't remember it much i must been like 13... my mom took us to the game and i was with a bunch of my friends... watched a couple innings and NOTHING was happening....
i have A.D.D. bad so i got up started walking around... me and my friends started messing around and laughing and joking.. throwing paper airplanes...
then it was about the 8th inning.. i turn around and think.. man the cardinals suck they havent scored yet???.... something clicked as i looked at the R H E
there was a big goose egg under the H... i was flabbergasted 
Fernando had just pitched a No-Hitter right in front of me and i missed it 
i'm still glad i can say i was there .. i didnt appreciate it back then.. but i know now.... what a great outing

Interesting. I think many baseball fans have a tale similar to that. Trust me when I say I know how you feel that you missed such a feat. I know from experience.
