WHAT?! I mean thats good because the Giants are the enemy and this would be a bad trade for them but ... are they nuts?! Lincecum is going to be freaking awesome. _________________

They're old-school. And by that I mean they have an age minimum of 33 to be on the team. |

| I'm watching our rotation this year. Not going to look into anything else out of fear of going blind. Rebuilding projects FTL. |

Nice way for Lincecum to start out the season. I was hoping he wouldn't fall apart after that impressive showing to round out his spring. _________________

^ Yes ... most ball players think that way. I dunno I don't think I personally would. I would want one BIG paycheck to set me and my family for life. Then I would go for the rest of my career at the league minimum. _________________

I'm sure for most, once they get their first big paycheck, they start living a lavish lifestyle. So to keep it up, they'll take money over winning...I'm guessing they want to amass as much money as they can, because when it comes down to it, baseball's a game, and you can't play it forever. They want to be in a position where they're financially set for the rest of their lives after they retire. For Rowand, he put up a career year last year with Philly so I guess it made sense to cash in his hard work, even if it were with the Giants |

Just thought I'd bump this thread to rub our series win in the Giant fans' ugly faces. _________________ "Losing feels worse than winning feels good." - Vin Scully
