Rekal’s Rants: Stay Away-Rod

November 14, 2007: Well looks like A-Rod is staying in the Bronx. It was much ado about nothing really. I mean what was all his fuss over if he really wanted to stay there? I had respected the cat before this. Now i think a little less of him as a person. I mean not only did he try and screw the Yankees over then come crawling back with his tail between his legs. It didn’t even sound like he tested the Free Agent market. There wasn’t any real rumors out there suggestioning he was offered anything from anyone else. Guess it’s just his nature. Not coming through in the clutch. What a punk. At least have the cajones to go through with what you say. Now I’m kind of glad he didn’t make his way here. We need to find a bat and now he don’t have to overpay to get one. Hear that Colletti? Anyway, we can all put to to rest all the Pay-Rod rumors. Let’s get back to REAL baseball. Dodgers baseball!
